Song of . . .

One, two, three
Counting out the signs we see
The tall buildings
Fading in the distance
Only dots on a map
Four, five, six
The two of us a perfect fit
You're all mine, all mine
And all I can say
Is you blow me away
Like an apple on a tree
Hiding out behind the leaves
I was difficult to reach
But you picked me
Like a shell upon a beach
Just another pretty piece
I was difficult to see
But you picked me
Yeah you picked me
So softly
Rain against the windows
And the strong coffee
Warming up my fingers
In this fisherman's house
You got me
Searched the sand
And climbed the tree
And brought me back down
And all I can say
Is you blow me away
Like an apple on a tree
Hiding out behind the leaves
I was difficult to reach
But you picked me
Like a shell upon a beach
Just another pretty piece
I was difficult to see
But you picked me
Yeah you picked me

The Isty Bitsy Teeny Weeny Blue Polkdot Dress

On Saturday after work, I went shopping with Tess and Laura, some friends from school. We all really needed dresses for homecoming and it was fun just laughing and joking around. At first all that we looked at was the junior section, then Laura had the idea that perhaps we would find some pretty dresses in the older ladies section. Although we had fun trying on the old dresses, none were in our price range which was all of 20 dollars. Finally we found a store Charolotte Russee (which is how I spell this store because I have no spelling skills). Tess and I went straight to the clearance section. I would pull one dress out and be like oh this is cute and then look up and see Tess laughing because she had the same one out to look at. This happened about two or three times. She actually found the blue polka dotted dress, and well I found another which was the exact same except mine had a shiny blue belt. I also got some necklaces. I love bagin shopping which is the same of both laura and tess. I can't wait to wear them, now I just have to decide where and when. . .

So my friend and I decided to go to the Apple Store nearby and play with the camera's on the computers. We took about 40 some pictures and emailed them all to ourselves. some were quite odd and others were just . . . words cannot describe.

But with reading Grapes of Wrath for school and everything else, i just don't have time so reading harry potter is on my to do list this week. . .

Listening to the Radio

Ahh I love Taylor Swift's lyrics, i think that they just touch every aspect of a young person's life such as my own. so here is the song that i am listening to. . .

Our Song lyrics
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heartI look around, turn the radio down
He says baby is something wrong?
I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a songAnd he says...
[Chorus:]Our song is the slamming screen door,Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again
I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown awayGot to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said...
[Repeat Chorus]
I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song...
Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneaking out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date "man, I didn't kiss him, and I should have"
And when I got home, before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it
was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his carI grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I... wrote down our song

See I just started

well I have never kept a blog so i guess that will just use it as a way for me to keep my though organized which is how most people use theirs. I love baking so this might become a place where I put up pictures of my new creations which sometimes turn out and yet other times, well lets just say never put jelly in the middle of peanut butter cookies because it just completely ruins them. My father is constantly telling me that I should become a writer and he is always telling me that i should write in a blog to get even better at writing. I dunno but oh well. until laters!
